A SMALL SITE, A SHORT POLICY

Your visit, your business.

This is Sunghyun Park’s personal website. It has no advertising trackers or analytics cookies.

Comments

When you leave a comment, your chosen name, comment, and submission time are stored in AWS in Seoul. Comments are reviewed before appearing publicly. Do not include private information in your comment.

To prevent spam, a salted hash derived from your IP address is held temporarily for rate limiting. Rate-limit records are scheduled to expire within two rate-limit windows; AWS removes expired records asynchronously.

Saved entries and cookies

Bookmarks and the places you discover on the interactive map are kept only in your browser’s local storage. They are not sent to the server. Clearing your browser data removes them. Session storage remembers whether you have seen the introduction in this tab. Ambient sound is off by default and starts only when you choose to enable it. The writing studio uses a secure session cookie for the author; ordinary readers don’t need an account.

Infrastructure and retention

AWS processes network information to deliver this site. Application logs retain operational errors for 14 days and do not intentionally record comment text or raw IP addresses. Published comments remain until removed. Pending comments remain until reviewed or deleted. Database recovery backups may retain deleted data for up to 35 days.

Contact and removal

For a privacy question or to request removal of a comment, contact sunghyun.park@atlo.ai with the article URL, the name used, and approximate submission date. You can clear saved entries at any time in your browser.
